Social Platform’s recommendations to the Parliament on its Employment Equality Directive report
In November the European Parliament will vote on a report on Implementation of the 'Employment Equality' Council Directive 2000/78/EC of 27 November 2000 establishing a general framework for equal treatment in employment and occupation. Currently the rapporteur Ádám KÓSA (HU/EPP) has prepared his draft report and the LIBE Committee's rapporteur Raül ROMEVA i RUEDA (ES/Greens) has written his (draft) opinion which will be voted in the LIBE on July 9. Social Platform has addressed both the LIBE Committee, ahead of the vote on the opinion, and the EMPL Committee ahead of their discussions on amendments to the report.
