ILGA-Europe calls on EU leaders to confront President Putin on the human rights crisis in Russia
The European Region of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA-Europe) calls on the European Commission President José Manuel Barroso and European Council President Herman Van Rompuy to speak out against the current human rights crisis in Russia and hold President Putin accountable for the current clampdown on civil society during the G20 meeting which is taking place on the 5-6 September in St. Petersburg, Russia.
