Members meet to strategise 2013 activities on fundamental rights and equality

On January 24 Social Platform’s working group on Fundamental Rights and Equality is meeting. The working group consists of members working across all grounds of discrimination (such as European Women’s Lobby, European Disability Forum, AGE Platform Europe, ILGA-Europe as well as organizations working on poverty, homelessness and social exclusion). See our webpage for a full list of our 45 pan-European members. We meet to share information, experiences and to contribute to common positions. On the agenda for the first meeting of the year is:

    • Invited speakers: Brigitte Triem (EWL) and Silvan Agius (ILGA-Europe), representatives of the EIGE’s Expert Foru
  • Follow-up actions on our position paper on EU actions against all forms of bias violence
  • Towards a Social Platform position on migration
