Statement in the wake of the Orlando terror attacks
On behalf of Social Platform, I send my sincere condolences to the victims, families and friends of those caught up in the aftermath of the horrendous terrorist attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of Sunday morning.
I encourage all political leaders throughout the world to condemn this targeted attack on the LGTBI community.
We must stand strong – together – in the face of ignorance, intolerance and hatred.
Let our hope, love and solidarity be the rainbow shining brightly through the rain.
