The presentation of the next College of Commissioners 2024-29 has raised serious concerns from Social Platform and our members.
Social Platform calls for:
- reinstating the priority of quality Jobs and Social Rights in the title of an EVP equipped with a strong competence over the relevant DGs and other related Commissioners.
- reinstating the stand-alone European Commissioner for Equality, supported by the work of a specific DG and with transversal competencies that allow the coordination of all policy areas that are related with equality.
