Spotlight sessions on minimum income

White horizontal line with bold white text reading: spotlight sessions on minimum income

Our 2 part series will take you on virtual visits to Austria, Czechia, Finland and Malta to hear directly from civil society providing support to those receiving minimum income in these EU member states.

Join us online for one or both virtual visits:

4 December 11am-12pm: Austria and Malta (registration closed)
10 December 11am-12pm: Czechia and Finland

Our virtual study visits will put a spotlight on: Civil society organisations and not-for-profit social service providers working directly with those at risk of poverty and how they provide essential support and training; some of the latest national data and methodologies on minimum income and measuring poverty; and first-hand experiences of the obstacles people face when trying to access minimum income schemes including socioeconomic discrimination and antigypsyism.
Participating organisations:

  • Caritas Austria
  • Caritas Malta
  • Vzájemné Soužití (Life Together), Czech Republic
  • Lahti Diaconia Institute, Finland
