ATD (All Together in Dignity) Fourth World is an international movement of solidarity that collaborates with the most excluded families worldwide. Established in 1957 by Joseph Wresinski, ATD Fourth World unites individuals from various cultures and social backgrounds and operates in over 30 countries in Africa, North and South America, the Indian Ocean, Asia, and Europe.
As an international non-governmental organization with no religious or political affiliations, ATD Fourth World works directly alongside people in poverty. They are committed to the belief that a world without poverty is achievable.
The Belgian team, ATD Quart Monde, focuses on three priorities: Mobilization for peace and human rights; access to education and the development of knowledge with the intelligence of all; the promotion of an economy that respects people and the Earth.
