The European Disability Forum is an umbrella organisation of persons with disabilities that defends the interests of over 100 million persons with disabilities in Europe.
They are an independent non-governmental organisation (NGO), run by persons with disabilities and their families, that brings together representative organisations of persons with disabilities from across Europe.
The organisation advocates for the inclusion of persons with disabilities within European Union (EU) policy and beyond. They track EU policy and coordinate comprehensive guidance with their members to advocate for disability rights by working closely with EU institutions and agencies, including the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Council of the EU, and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
Their objective is to achieve equal opportunities for all men, women, and children with disabilities.
