ESAN, the European Social Action Network, was created in 1991 as a non-profit European organisation by organisations from the social sector. At present, it is a network of 37 members present in 16 European countries to promote solidarity and active citizenship.
Their aim is to develop co-operation between ONG working in the social field, to encourage coherent European policies based on the respect of human rights.
