Rue de la gare 36 - 1040 Brussel

Make Mothers Matter (MMM), formerly known as Mouvement Mondial des Mères/World Movement of Mothers, is an international NGO established in 1947 at UNESCO in Paris.

They operate through advocacy, networking, and communication, focusing on education, health, peace, and the economy. MMM unites a growing network of member associations and partners active worldwide, reaching over 10 million mothers globally. With no political or religious affiliations, MMM transparently represents the concerns of mothers at the highest levels, including the European Union, UNESCO, and the United Nations, where they hold general consultative status.

Through the experience and knowledge of its European member associations at the national level, the MMM European Delegation focuses on supporting and empowering mothers and highlighting how their contribution at social and economic levels matters for Europe’s future development.

The EU delegation works to influence European policies and legislation to bring about positive changes in the lives of mothers, which will have a positive impact on their children, family and society as a whole. MMM aims to support mothers and help them develop their independence.
