European Roma Information Office: New publication – ‘Implementing National Roma Integration Strategies: Challenges and solutions for local authorities’
The European Roma Information Office (ERIO) has released its new publication, ‘Implementing National Roma Integration Strategies: Challenges and solutions for local authorities’.
The paper outlines the key findings of conferences organised by ERIO with local authorities, of roundtables and networking meetings done in 2014. It comprises the key challenges and some potential solutions for local and regional authorities when implementing the National Roma Integration Strategies. The paper also provides recommendations to the European Commission, member states, local authorities and Roma civil society. Finally, good practices of local authorities are also included.
