FEANTSA complains homeless people can’t participate in European Citizens’ Initiatives
The European Federation of National Organisations Working With the Homeless (FEANTSA) claims that in the European Year of Citizens 2013, the EU purports to want to increase and facilitate citizens’ involvement in society, but a significant number of Europeans, among them homeless people, are excluded from accessing the benefits of their citizenship, including the newly-launched European Citizens' Initiatives.
