Towards greater fundamental rights impact by civil society and EU Agency cooperation

On October 2 the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights held a workshop on 'How can FRA and civil society step up cooperation in order to achieve more impact on fundamental rights?'. The workshop brought together the current and former Advisory Panel of the FRA Fundamental Righst Platform, representatives from FRA Management Board, Chair and members of the FRA Scientific Committee, FRA Director and FRA experts. Social Platform was participating in the capacity of member of the Advisory Panel (Annica Ryngbeck, Policy and Advocacy Adviser).

The aim of this workshop was to discuss how increased cooperation and an intelligent division of labour between the different actors can benefit greater fundamental rights protection. The objective is to develop the foundations for a Strategic Framework on FRA – civil society cooperation up to 2020.
