We are recruiting an expert on tax justice and climate change

In the frame of Spring Alliance (an alliance between Social Platform, ETUC, the European Environmental Bureau and Concord), we are carrying out research on climate change and social justice that will culminate in a conference with EU decision-makers, civil society organisations and academics, to be held on December 5 in Brussels. For this project we receive a grant from the King Baudouin Foundation, in particular under the strand “Climate change and social justice”.

We are currently recruiting an expert on Tax Justice and Climate Change to produce a paper and present it at the above-mentioned event.

The aim of the paper is to propose recommendations to be integrated in the European Semester 2014 and Annual Growth Survey 2015, in particular by developing fiscal recommendations on how to shape an integrated approach to climate change and energy policies which takes into account social aspects with environmental and economic ones.

The term of reference can be found here. The deadline for submitting applications is November 3.
