Inclusion

When everyone, regardless of background, identity, or ability, is given equal opportunities to participate in economic, social, and political life, it enables society to thrive.

Although the EU and its Member States have committed in principle to uphold social rights for all, some groups and individuals are still prevented from enjoying access to those rights.

Discriminatory barriers. These barriers should be removed and access to these rights ensured for all.

Social Platform demands the protection and promotion of inclusive, peaceful societies that ensure everyone has the right to live in dignity, with the rejection of all forms of hate, discrimination or stigmatisation.

Policy Paper on an EU Solidarity Strategy to respond the Ukraine crisis

Europe has responded with unprecedented solidarity to the war in Ukraine, showing the lengths that EU institutions, Member States and communities are willing to go to defend European values and peace.

Social Platform recognises that solidarity will take constant work and reassurance across our societies and support from the authorities on local, regional, national and EU levels. Read our recommendations for an EU Solidarity Strategy.
